What is MPS (Microcurrent Point Stimulation) Therapy?

At our holistic speech and wellness practice, we use MPS—microcurrent point stimulation—as part of an integrative approach to supporting patients with chronic pain, TMD, hypermobility, and other complex medical conditions. MPS delivers gentle microcurrent impulses to specific acupuncture points, helping reset the nervous system and reduce pain and tension patterns that often contribute to oral function challenges.

Our treatment incorporates the Dolphin Neurostim™, a portable pain relief unit and therapeutic tool that allows us to target stress patterns along the face, jaw, neck, and upper body—areas commonly involved in TMD, orofacial pain, and compensatory postures seen in feeding and airway dysfunction.
